Dear Owner,
We purchased a new trailer from another dealership in 2007. While still under warranty we encountered multiple problems trying to get service done through the dealership where we purchased our trailer.
One of our neighbors also purchased a new trailer during 2007. They purchased their trailer from Vicars and had nothing but good things to say about Vicars and how they were treated. After some investigation, we found that while Vicars does not sell our trailer model you are licensed to do warranty work on our trailer.
We contacted your warranty coordinator, Ryan and spoke to him about our problems and made a service appointment.
When we brought our trailer in for service we went over all our issues with Ryan. During the inspection of our trailer Ryan noticed other potential problems that they would evaluate and also brought up problems he had heard of others having with our brand of trailer. Ryan also introduced us to Service Manager, Drew and Service Technicians, Steve and Mike.
Ryan and his staff members, service manager, Service techs corrected the concerns we had identified. They also corrected several other concerns we had not yet recognized. While the required repairs were more extensive than originally anticipated, everything was addressed as promised. Ryan also kept us posted on a regular basis with the progress of the repairs.
A few of the repairs were disputed by the manufacturer. Even though we did not purchase our trailer from Vicars, Ryan still acted as our advocate and resolved these issues to our satisfaction.
We did not purchase our last trailer from Vicars but we know where we will purchase our next trailer - Vicars! Feel free to use us as a reference with any future customers.
You are fortunate to have such a qualified and competent staff and we were fortunate our neighbors told us about their complete satisfaction with Vicars. We echo their praises!
Thanks to you and your staff from two happy campers.

Dear Vicky,
I wanted to write you in regard to the experience that my wife and I had in conducting business with your dealership and specifically one of your sales personnel by the name of Ron. My wife Jodi and I had decided to purchase a small towable RV unit, so we started looking for one in both the private and commercial market. We visited numerous commercial dealerships from Mt. Clemens, MI to Jackson, MI. I must tell you that I was not impressed with the sales people at a majority of those establishments. Even though the sales people were generally knowledgeable I had serious apprehensions about their general candor and sincerity as it related to the complete satisfaction of "us" the customer. Having have owned a successful business of my own for over 15 years I knew the success of a business is more of a philosophy than an exercise in "salesmanship". Sales people have a myriad of techniques and tools and a "valuable" sales person does more than generate cash flow dollars. In my opinion there are TWO distinct types of "sales persons" one type who is "good" at bringing in revenue and one who is "valuable" to the company overall and adds "value" far beyond the dollar numbers that he or she generates. BOTH are part of a successful business, the dollar generator may or may not have the best interest of the company in mind, he or she has a self serving agenda for which they strive, namely "commission and incentive generation". And as far as a company's gross revenue is concerned that definitely contributes to the bottom line. The relationship between a "revenue generator" and the company is maintained only as long as the person is turning over dollars, consequently when a dollar generator "moves on" the legacy he leaves for the business is hollow because they were only interested in the "sale" and not to promote the business as the focal point of the contact with the customer. Conversely, the "valuable" salesperson "starts" with the promotion of the business and builds within the potential customer a confidence and "desire" to CHOOSE his firm over all others in which to spend their dollars and rely on their services. Once this type of relationship is established the "SALE" will generate themselves. The confidence of the customer will come from a "warm and fuzzy" feeling about the honesty, integrity and fair negotation practices that the sales person and his/her company offer to them, thus a long term, loyal client is secured for the company even if the salesperson "moves on" as long as the company lives up to their philosophy with the customer long term.
It is my opinion, that you have a "valuable" salesperson in Ron. His personal demeanor and "can-do" attitude is the "rare" and exact combination that I look for when I am looking for goods and services that require more than just the "lowest price". It is a testament to you as the owner to recognize and retain the skill set and "personality" of individuals that "promote" your business FIRST and generate sales based upon the customers "desire" to honor you with their business, while the customer in turn, feels honored by your business practices. In upfront sales or background services the "philosophy and vision" is in my opinion the foundation of a successful business in today's ultra competitive environment. I am writing you in response to the overall experience that we had while at your faciltiy. Your service people did not go un-noticed either, the organization of your building and the "free-air conversations" that went on within earshot while we were there impacted on our decision whether or not to do business with you. I have learned by being in business for myself that it is very often the case, the things that the customer hears, observes and perceives that are "outside" of his or her specific interaction with you becomes the key for them in making the decision of whether or not to conduct business with you.
For Jodi and I, as in most customers, we can spend our hard earned money anywhere, the question becomes, "who will provide us with the honesty, integrity and value" that we look for? Obviously we chose you for this individual transaction, and even if we did not make a purchase from you the FACT remains that you still have created an "outstanding" environment for customers, sales and service. Thank you for the experience. Jodi and I will remember you in the future for our needs and will be happy to recommend you to those we meet.
